FRIESland

Ceremonial wine glass to make toast to the province of Friesland.

On the bowl a wheelengraving of the crowned coat of arms of Friesland held by two lions. The lions are standing on a decoration of 'Laub und Bandel'. To both sides of the crown the inscription:

'FRIS / LANTIA'

German or Dutch sodaglass with Dutch engraving.

First half eighteenth century.

Height: 22,4 cm
