General Information
In April 2021 when the Corona pandemic was at its peak and people -literally- had nowhere
to go, a group of Dutch antique dealers joined forces to organise the first online Dutch Art
and Antiques Fair - The DAAF for members of the Royal Dutch Fine Art & Antique
Dealers Association (KVHOK). Membership of the association has ensured dealers of
excellent standing and reputation and the highest quality objects.
49 dealers attracted over 6.000 visitors and more than 125.000 page views in just two and a
half days.
In 2022, dealers are picking up their pre-Corona pace by joining the travelling circus again of
annual art and antiques fairs. Online fairs have meanwhile become part of the routine. They
have become part of the way we promote, buy and sell art and antiques.
The DAAF now is a no-nonsense, straightforward website, where 50 exhibitors present 21
pieces from their collections. So there are more than 1000 beautiful works of art from a broad
range of specialties all in one place. Shown together, exclusively here on this site, from
Thursday 7 April 16:00 (CET) and closing Sunday 10 April at 21:00 (CET).
Exhibitors all have a “stand”. New acquisitions in the most diverse fields: from engravings to
glassware, Dutch Old Masters to Russian Icons, from the grandeur of Louis XVI to the
thoughtful simplicity of 20th-century designs, Fine Jewellery and Asian Art and much more
for which the Dutch art trade is known for. Exceptional pieces that would not be misplaced at
fairs like TEFAF and PAN Amsterdam.
From 7th April - 10th April.

The National Art Fair PAN Amsterdam offers an extremely high-quality and versatile range of more than 110 participants. Aardewerk, Antiquair Jeweler, Kunsthandel P. de Boer, BorzoGallery abnd Frides Laméris Antiques, and enthusiastic new participants such as Bildhalle, Willem Baars Projects and St1 gallery. There are also a number of top foreign traders on the eclectic PAN fair present.
Mark Grol, General Manager PAN Amsterdam: “After an unprecedentedly successful exhibition in 2019, and a year of reflection, in 2021 we will look ahead with a positive outlook together with traders. Full of energy
and confidence in the future. The resilience and flexibility of the entire culture industry has shown during the recent period. The Belgian art historian Paul Dujardin calls art the vaccine in the post-corona era. We are therefore pleased to announce that former artistic director and director of De Nederlandse Opera Pierre Audi the campaign image for the upcoming edition of PAN Amsterdam will develop in collaboration with photographer duo Maria Bodil.”
“More and more people are looking for meaningful moments and investments. They no longer only want to buy, but instead delve deeper and be inspired. A need that we meet with a diverse range of art, antiques and design and a varied fringe programming at the upcoming PAN Amsterdam like to fulfill. We look forward to working with our partners and participants on an exceptional, inspiring edition.”
Sponsors
The Swiss bank J. Safra Sarasin (Luxembourg) SA is the main sponsor of the upcoming edition and will offer an extensive program during the fair. Paardekooper is also sponsor of the fair. Taschen and FloatScans will be presented in the Business Pavilion this year.
